Globalization summary-response essay

 Hello everyone here my first university essay trial. İt is summary-response essay. So, according to instructions, it should be written like giving summary firstly and then writing your response. Also it should include citiation in the text. 

In the article ‘The Global Network’ written by Adam Johnes, National Geographic, July26 ,2019 argues that globalization effects popular culture ,economy , politics. Also, globalization is effected from communication and travel. Because he says that humans get a lot of new informations thanks to internet and telephones. So that, people in other countries reach identical information everyday. Travelling leds to rise globalisation impacts as well. Millions of people go from one country to another in order to find jobs and spend their holidays .Therefore, globalization enables western labour. Voyager who travels from one country to another may be effected new opinions such as culture. So , they can change their lifestyle or their perspective. Furhermore Adam johnes claims that, popular culture and economy got globolized . For instance japanese book and African music is consumed by americans.  Transnational bussines is important too . Many big companies manage it’s business that has branch in different countries such as HSBC.  According to Adam johnes, countries are increased their communication due to cultural and economical globalization .  In addition Adam Johnes says that ‘ western culture will destroy local cuisines around the world’ I both agree and disgaree this point because in my opinion the world is getting globalized so we eat in same brand such as Mc. Donald or Burger King . I see Mc. Donalds everywhere when I go outside. Every specific area such as Kadıkoy has a lot of dominant food brand . However  there are some special cuisine restaurants in other countires  which recognize other  cuisines . For instance , there are some chinese restaurants or İtalian restaurants in Turkey that serve us traditional foods . So if we eat in these traditional  restaurnats , cuisines continue to exist . Also, Adam johnes claims that ‘Travel and tourisim have made people more familiar with other cultures’ I agree this statement because when we go different country we are effected their culture a little bit . For instance I went to Spain 2-3 years ago and I leaned that spanish people has a siesta holiday that breaks in the afternoon between 13.00-15.00. I have been Greece as well and I learned wide variety of things about Greece and greek people. When we are in another country, we have the opportunity to introduce and see most things about that country. As a result globolization has a big impact on humans and nations . We reach every significant knowledge thanks to globalization and we adapt what we see to our lives.
